Color Tools
The UV color test tool is designed to evaluate the lightfastness and UV resistance of colored waxes. It features a panel with 10 slots into which different wax samples are poured. To simulate partial UV exposure, the top halves of each slot are covered, leaving the bottom halves exposed. After a controlled period of UV light exposure, the covered and uncovered sections can be compared side-by-side to assess color stability, fading, or discoloration—providing clear insight into how each formula performs under UV stress.
The color palette tool features a 4 x 8 grid of wax slots, allowing for side-by-side comparison of up to 28 different wax formulations simultaneously. This tool is ideal for evaluating color consistency, coverage, and aesthetic effects across various pigment or dye combinations, helping formulators quickly identify the most suitable color blends for candle production.
