Candles often incorporate pigments to achieve vibrant, visually appealing colors, and high-quality pigments offer several advantages. These include excellent color stability, ease of measurement, good dispersion in wax, vivid hues, and high concentration. These pigments are suitable for use in various types of paraffin and plant-based waxes. Recommended usage levels vary depending on the desired color intensity: for light shades (e.g., beige), 0.05%–0.3%; for standard colors (e.g., red, blue, yellow), 0.05%–0.1%; for darker tones, 0.1%–0.5%; and for overdipping applications, 0.5%–2%. For example, to achieve standard coloring, mixing 0.5–5 kg of pigment chips with 1000 kg of wax is effective. However, some fragrances may cause discoloration or fading. If this occurs, customers are encouraged to contact a sales representative for support and solutions.
Precautions:
Please read the pigment description before use.
Flake pigments are dispersed within the medium system. After standing for a long time, varying degrees of separation may occur. It is recommended to stir continuously during use.
For reheating, we strongly recommend using a water bath for slow, gentle heating to avoid localized overheating and charring.
